Lynn Youth Hockey has one board position open at this time. The Fundraising Director position will be a very crucial position within the Lynn Youth Hockey organization. In this position the Fundraising Director will take responsibility for driving the fundraising committee, members and coaches in developing solid fundraising campaigns. This person should have strong communications and be very organized. This is one of the most important positions in our organization as we depend on a big part of this income to cover operating costs during the hockey season. Lynn Youth Hockey will be holding it's yearly canning fundraising event. All players are expected to participate in this event. We will be looking for all coaches and parents to take help out in Canning at the Wyoma Square location during this time. Fundraising is a very important part of the Lynn Youth Hockey program and we use these funds to supplement our costs throughout the hockey season.
October 3rd will be Lynn Youth Hockey's Learn To Skate / In-House Session running from October 3rd to December 26th. Learn To Skate will be held at the Lynn Connery Rink every Saturday at 10:00 and the In-House program will start 10:00 on Saturdays and 10:40 on Sundays for Termites/Mites only. The In-House for Squirts / PeeWees will be held at 11:00 on Saturday and 11:40 on Sunday. The cost for Learn To Skate is $150.00 and In-House $250.00. All registration forms are on-line under Forms.
Lynn Youth Hockey has confirmed with Gannon Golf Course Saturday October 17th at 2:30 will be the 2nd annual Lynn Youth Hockey Golf Tournament. This event last year raised over 10,000 dollars for the program. We look forward in raising even more this year with corporate sponsors, hole sponsors, cart sponsors, etc. It will take additional help with the members of the LYH organization to make this happen. This will be a 9 hole tournament with prizes, raffles, 50/50, and much more. The golf will be followed with a meal and then a dance starting at 7:30.
